Expectations re enrolments and attendance
It is expected that members should be able to feel comfortable in their class environment and to participate and enjoy the course offerings and facilities that Hawthorn U3A has to offer. This document contains the Committee's expectations of members regarding enrolment and class attendance.

Subscriptions are now due for 2019
We encourage you to pay online with our new Membership System by credit card - using PayPal. You don't need to have, or create, a PayPal account to use this facility.
You may also use internet banking to make a bank transfer. Please ensure you enter your Member ID (preferably) or surname when making the bank transfer.
Please note that Credit Card payments cannot be made over the phone.
if you wish to pay at our Office, please login to the Membership system, using the link above, go to "Pay Membership" and print 2 copies of the 2018 Invoice and bring it with you. Payment can then be made by credit card [EFTPOS machine], cheque or cash, after which you will be given one of the Invoices as a receipt.
Request change to your personal details, withdraw from a course or make an "assisted enrolment"
Complete the form with any changes required to your membership record or to have someone enter an enrolment in the Membership System on your behalf.
Swinburne Computer Account
When enrolling for a Computer course held at Swinburne, each student must submit a signed request for a login Account. The Form should be submitted to U3A Hawthorn with your enrolment request.
Click on the link above to login to our Membership System. Once logged in, click on View Courses on the menu at left of the screen.
You can then proceed to enrol in courses by clicking in the box to the left of the appropriate course information and, when finished, ensure that you click the green Confirm Selections box.
Please note the colour coding used to display course information;
Where a course is highlighted in blue, it has either reached the maximum number of students who can be enrolled or it has prerequisites which must be confirmed before your enrollment can proceed. In both cases, you will be placed on a wait list.
You will receive an email confirming the status of your enrolment.
The full curriculum for the current year is published in December of the previous year.
Additional courses and short courses are added from time to time during the year.

Incident Report Form
Any incident involving injury should be reported to the Management Committee by completion of an Incident Report.

Acknowledgement of Risk
Participants in outdoor activity classes, such as cycling, walking and digital photography, are required to complete an Acknowledgement of Risk form and submit it to their activity Convenor or the Office prior to commencing in that class.
